The first Okavango to Tsodilo Ultra-Trail is behind us — and it was everything we believed it could be.
Just short of 100 kilometres over three days, connecting two UNESCO World Heritage Sites on foot. From the channels of the Okavango Panhandle to the ancient rock faces of the sacred Tsodilo Hills — the Mountains of the Gods — across landscapes that most people only ever see from a vehicle or a light aircraft.
Running it alongside us was one of our own: an OMP member and future running host, joined by our co-founder and community liaison director. Two people who know these landscapes, know these communities, and who chose to do something nobody has done here before.
This is what OMP is for. Not just to run, but to lead — to show what is possible when you back the people who are already here.
The 2027 departure is open for registration. We would love to see you on the trail.
